Update! New Website & Marketing Plan
For any of you who have finished a book & have it with an agent or an acquisitions editor, or those of you who are hoping to do so in the future & want to file away this little tidbit...here is something you might want to consider.
I just updated my web site with a guestbook. I have a couple of questions I added, asking signers if they would be willing to help market my book in any way, even by telling others or sending an email about my site & book, to their address book. I posted it yesterday afternoon and have 25 people that have signed it so far. I'm hoping that by the time one of the editors previewing my book comes back with feedback, we'll have enough signatures to show him a serious interest in the book.
SO......would all you wonderful people here go visit my website & read the excerpt from the first scene...the link is called "Yesterday's Child". After reading it, would you please sign my guestbook? I'd prefer everyone read it first, so they can honestly state whether or not they would be willing to tell others about the book.
